So, it’s now 2019. We’ve wrapped up 2018 so it’s time to set some anticipations for the coming year. Here we go!

  • Finish converting The Christmas Wish and ready it for self-publishing by Christmas
  • Finish Better When I’m Dancing and start Soldier Verse’s proper story
  • Try to get back to posting Comfort Food once a month
  • Better plan out writing events and preparing in advance so I’m not in a rush or end up abandoning them
  • Get back on my regular posting schedule here
  • Regularly post recaps and reviews on my other blog
  • Post more reviews on my book blog and on Goodreads
  • Network with more writers

I’m confident I’ll be able to meet most of these anticipations and I believe you can as well.

I wish you well and hope you do the same for me.

    Year in Review: 2018

So, 2018 has come and gone. At the beginning of the year, I made some “anticipations” for the year. Let’s see if how I did.

      • Work on The Christmas Wish with aim of self-publishing by Christmas

I have worked on The Christmas Wish all year long, though I didn’t manage to publish by this Christmas. Looking back, that might have been too lofty a goal.

      • Jump start the Big Project and work for self-publishing in 2019

I’m still focused on The Christmas Wish so the Big Project has remained on the backburner—for now.

Happy New Year! I hope 2018 is a lot less stressful than 2017 turned out to be for everyone!

As I’ve done for the past few years, I’m sharing my anticipations for 2018. I don’t like the word “resolution” and feel that’s just setting myself for failure. But if I anticipate something…well…that’s different.

So here are my anticipations for the year:

    • Work on The Christmas Wish with aim of self-publishing by Christmas
    • Jump start the Big Project and work for self-publishing in 2019
    • Finish “Better When I’m Dancing” and start to turn my Soldier Verse drabbles into a proper story
    • Work on some original pieces
    • Network more with authors, both in and out of fandom
    • Continue my regular posting schedule on this blog
    • Read 13 books this year
    • Review more books on my other blog

    And on a personal note:

    • Exercise more and lose some weight

So those are my anticipations. Here’s a toast to 2018 and wish that it’s not as crazy as 2017 was.

Please share your own anticipations for 2018 in the comments. I’d love to read them!

So we’re a week into the New Year. As usual, I’m going to list my anticipations for the year. For any newcomers, I don’t like the term “resolution.” So I say “anticipations” instead.

      Ready? Here I go…

Continue to post regularly here on WordPress.

Post a flash fiction a day on my tumblr.

Work on the Big Project and self publish it by the end of the year.

Work on the Christmas Project and self publish it by Christmas.

Get back on a regular fanfiction posting schedule.

Network with more writers, both in fandom and out of it.

Continue to try to read a book a month.

Write more book reviews for my blog.

I think that’s it for now.

      Bring it on, 2017.

      I’m ready.

(Kudos to those who yelled “SAY IT.” Love to my fellow Rocky Horror fans)

Happy 2016! New year, new anticipations. So what do I hope to accomplish this year? Find out!

On the fanfiction front, I anticipate finishing “The Land Without Magic” and “The Prince of Darkness.” I anticipate starting their sequels—“Once Upon a Time” and “Untitled as of Now.” And I’ll continue working on “The Nanny,” “Comfort Food” and “Building a Family.” And probably many more.

      Let’s Wrap Up 2015

It’s the last Monday of 2015. Usually, this is where I would make a joke about the year flying. But 2015 kinda…sucked, didn’t it? I mean, not really personally for me but just in general. It just seemed depressing, didn’t it?

So I’m kinda glad to see it go. Anyone else with me? Let’s wrap this up and get on with 2016.

At the beginning of the year, I wrote some anticipations. Let’s see how I did.

I feel like I was writing my 2013 review just yesterday. What happened?

Anyway, let’s take a look at my 2014, shall we?

      Goodbye, 2013. Hello, 2014.

This is the last post for 2013. It’s amazing how fast the year flies. Last year, I made some anticipations as the word “resolutions” seems more definitive. Like if you fail to keep your resolutions, it’s a disappointment. But anticipations are just hopes. If you don’t get them this year, you can still hope for next year!
