A Writer's Journey

And So The Book Closes on 2012…

It’s New Year’s Eve. The year 2012 went by fast. While I may not be exactly where I thought I’d be, I’m not complaining.

Let’s see my accomplishments:

I managed to post weekly this year.

I finished a manuscript (“The Wedding Game”) this year.

I finally figured out an angle to write my “Conference House” book from.

I participated in my first NaNoWriMo. Yes, I failed by 37,000 words. But I finally did it. And I’m still writing the project, “Fairest of Them All.”

So, I think that’s a good list. And I feel good as I wait for the ball to drop and welcome 2013. So, what do I wish to accomplish in 2013? Let’s see…

I wish to keep posting weekly.

I wish to post more flash fiction on the blog.

I will submit the first thirty pages of “The Wedding Game” to a contest and wish it will at least be a finalist.

I will start shopping something around before December 2013.

I will participate in NaNoWriMo 2013.

Not a bad list. Let’s see if I can accomplish it, shall we?

Happy New Year’s!
