Time to Give Thanks

Filed under: off topic — mackenziew @ 12:00 am

Thanksgiving is Thursday. I’m sure other blogs are dedicated to the history of Thanksgiving. Not mine. Not this year. Unless you want me to bore you with memories of my trip to Plymouth Plantation when I was 9. What was that? Didn’t think so.

There is so much to be thankful for. My amazing, supportive parents. Even if they don’t understand how long it takes to write and edit a novel. (See: Next entry). And with them, my sister. And my grandmother, my aunt, and my cousin. Who is anxiously awaiting my first novel. (It’s coming, I promise!)

I am also grateful for my friends. Especially my best friend, who has read parts of “The Wedding Game” and liked it. I also want to thank everyone on BookCountry. You all have been a great help this past year.

I am grateful for food, a roof over my head and the fact I am luckier than many of my neighbors this Thanksgiving. And I pray for them.

So, let us all be grateful this Thursday. Deal?
